neod192 Report post Posted February 1, 2013 Jim Moore posted on Facebook "The Ford executive office liaison said yesterday that the Titanium Hybrid will be built in Michigan hopefully starting mid March....the delay launch. I wonder if the plant is ready yet or if there is an issue still with the Titanium Hybrid?" If that's true and the plant isn't ready, it could explain the delay. cwb1183 Report post Posted February 1, 2013 Now that would be a new slip of the build date???I don't understand why there is not an official statement to all of us who have ordered, terrible customer relations

Think that is bad? Wait until you have an issue that cant get resolved, it gets much worse!
neod192 Report post Posted February 1, 2013 His source didn't seem to know they were scheduling Energi Ti's. Grain o salt.Yup, his info isn't all that reliable. Sam Hoyt tweeted that all Hybrids will be built in Hermosillo. https://twitter.com/sammyhoyt/status/297355519188951040

SalvadorAssumpcao Report post Posted February 1, 2013 Yea - I was one of the folks she tweeted that reply to ... Time will tell. Look at he bright side. Things are improving. In marketing-speak, "likely month X" beats "soon", most days of most weeks :-) 1 Fastronaut reacted to this
pers69 Report post Posted February 1, 2013 Oh yea ... I am encouraged. A month delay - given ramping up concurrent Energi production - isn't bad at all. A bit annoying given that Energi's are being scheduled (though I am happy for those folks). But, on whole, it is good news. Beats all to hell the 6-9 month further delay scary rumor and the TBD nightmare. Now all we need is for this rumor to become reality (where the 1/7 and 1/14 scheduling starts did not). 1 Fastronaut reacted to this
Fastronaut Report post Posted February 1, 2013 Ford Customer Care just told me that Hybrid Ti's are scheduled to be delivered to dealerships (Stock) by the end of March.

rjent Report post Posted February 3, 2013 I have a confirmation that an ordered Titanium ordered today will be about 3 months to fulfill. I am just about to pull the trigger on a black on black with all the extras. I have worked with this very large dealer since 1997 and have bought probably 7 new F150's and Expeditions from them, I really doubt my rep (yep same one :)) would lead me astray. This forum has helped me a lot with my decision (thanks to everyone), and I hope to be an owner by late Spring ... FWIW
pers69 Report post Posted February 3, 2013 I doubt they are either. The question is what is the quality of their info versus the quality of the info from other folks' dealers. I don't think any of them have a firm grasp and are doing the best they can to predict the unpredictable (for Ford anyway). I also think they might be padding it a bit as it is better to come in early and look competent than late and look incompetent. My money is on April. shaggy314 Report post Posted February 4, 2013 I see two Energi Ti get VINs that are coming to Central Texas Dealer lots and the window stickers are available. They don't show build/schedule information in etis yet. So Ford has changed from all Fusions are built in Hermosillo?

So Ford has changed from all Fusions are built in Hermosillo?Ford is shipping MKZs to Michigan and doing inspection on them because of backups in Hermisillo. They are expanding to do Fusion builds in Michigan, but it won't be soon.
