And now for something completely different

John Cleese in a Bikini!

Hah and y'all thought it would be about some other problem with my car! Nope, no sob sympathy here, just want to blow off steam. I posted some pics under a different thread of my RC planes, but thought I would open this up here too, B25nut is also an RCr, and thought hey why not.

On my bench this year to get completed I have a P-51 B/C that is near the glassing stage before final assembly. I have a 4*120 at the final assembly stage, just need to mount the engine and radio and its ready for flight when the weather turns nice again. I started construction of a Chipmunk kit, going to do the retract version hanging in the Smithsonian(road trip!), picked up a Corsair kit, always wanted one. I also have a few ARF kits to complete, a full electric Twin Otter, needs to be reassembled, it was partially assembled but never completed, but since I actually fly them I want to make 100% sure its properly built. I also have a Hanger9 Funtana, full electric, needs batteries and a receiver installed and trimmed out. My final big bird is a CARF models Extra 330L with a twin cylinder gas 100 CC engine. That one should be a blast to fly, again have to disassemble and reassemble it to make sure it is all put together for flight and not display.

I dont know which is more fun, flying or building.

Acdii - After seeing all these projects, now I know you're Superman, especially since you're also married! Throw in a job, all your posts here and on the R/C forums and the B-17E restoration, I don't know how you do it. I hope you're feeling better after you "incident" today.

Best post of the day!

I spent some time tonight working on my planes. Swapped the Magnum out of the Kadet for the OS now that I finally got some SIG mounts, and remounted the Magnum on the T-34 and replaced the broken aileron servo link. I now have 3 planes ready to fly once more! At one point I had 5, and flew them all in one night, one at a time of course. After a not so pretty takeoff and wing fold, one plane is needing repairs, and when the wing snapped off the 4*, well it totaled that one, so a new one is nearly done.

Finding time to do it all, yeah, takes practice! :D I dedicate one night for flying/building depending on time of year, and a few hours on the weekends for putterin around with them.
