How do you have your information displays set up?

Recommended Posts

Now that we have more and more people enjoying their new hybrids, I was wondering how you guys have your left and right display screens set up, and if you don't mind, why?

Example:

Left Side- Empower, because I like all the info..

Right Side- Leaves- tells me how I'm doing.

So how do you guys have it set up?

I flip them around a lot, the right side I am finding to be rather convenient, can access the phone quick dials, answer and hang up the call, flip through the various radio and devices, nav sysem, and was entertained for a little while with the leaves falling off the tree, until they stopped growing back.

Left side, the myview I have the tach on one side, temp on the other, and flip through them as needed. If I want to see instant and long term I go to the fuel link which has both of those and the coach.

I've ditched the leaves in favor of the radio details on the right side.

fuel and coach on the left. I need to get inside and set up some things,

but I'm still sitting there with my mouth hanging open at all my new toys.

I have the left display on Engage. I've found it gives me the clearest feedback on effecient driving. I have My View set so it gives my Range and Engine Temperature whenever I want them on the left side. My right display is on Entertainment 90% of the time, never on Green Leaves.

Ditto on mine. Wish I could get My View on the right display in place of the worthless green leaves. Although the right display is mostly on Entertainemnt' it is really redundant to the MFT center display.

Just be careful when you first get it as you can get fixated on the various diplays and forget about driving!

I have been using Engage on the left, but I haven't have time to look into the other options, especially MyView.

On the right, either entertainment or nav. Never the leaves (didn't like them even on my 11 FFh, where they could be replaced by a bar graph). I find the nav display on the right of the speedo particularly useful, when following directions.

I also often load that "energy flow diagam" in the MFT screen on the center stack. You know, the one with with a picture of a Fusion on he background. In there, I find the "why is the ICE running?" text helpful. But the whole thing is a bit out of the way so I use it sparingly.

I keep the Empower on the left, and I still like the Efficiency Leaves on the right. What was so awesome, I was in a total traffic jam earlier today, literally, it took 40 minutes to move 1 mile. During that time, the battery got completely drained, and my mileage went from 45.2 to 35.5, and every leaf fell off, the vine was bare! Once we got past the accident, I loved watching the vine bloom again as my mileage figure increased to about 43.

I do switch the left from Empower to Trip 1 to see how many miles I've driven and how little gas I've used, I'm still so excited about that!

And like SalvadorAssumpcao (above), I really like the energy flow diagram! I only found it recently, and I love seeing what's being used, and why I'm not in EV mode.
