mgmd11 Report post Posted December 19, 2012 Just got my new 2013 FFH on December 1. Had to drive 180 miles to Portland to get it because of the lack of inventory in the Seattle caused by delays from the factory. Lots of cars on trains heading up the west coast now. Two fills up so far, getting 37.1 and 37.2 mpg respectively per tank with about 420 miles range. Best mpg on 36 mile one-way commute was 41.7 Hoping mileage gets better as it breaks in. Low fuel light comes on at about 10.5 gallons used. I have pushed it to 11.3 gallons after going into the red light warning. I will push it to see how close the limit is to the 13.5 gallon capacity. Best new technology on the car - adaptive cruise control! Sweet! 2 Nmadole and Fusion Hybrid Guide reacted to this
acdii Report post Posted December 19, 2012 You really dont want to do that, if for some reason you do run out of gas, you could disrupt the system and need it to be reset.
pers69 Report post Posted December 19, 2012 Saw in Raj's presentation that Ford considers the "break in" for the FFH to be 6000 miles.
