suew Report post Posted February 3, 2011 Does anyone have any experience installing a rear view mirror that shows outside temp and has a compass? I want to install one in my 08 fusion. Thanks, Sue
fusionff Report post Posted February 4, 2011 I haven't seen a mirror like that installed in a Fusion, at least not yet anyway. Good luck and Welcome aboard.
gb_fusionguy Report post Posted February 4, 2011 I haven't either. Had one like that in my Lincoln LS, and I really miss it. My Sport at least has the compass in the Sync display, but no outside temp display. GB
dubious1 Report post Posted February 5, 2011 I've been thinking about doing this as well, since I have the basic mirror and no compass/temp in the sync display. I did some searching online and found this: http://www.autoanything.com/mirrors/61A2074A0A0A3318071.aspx Hopefully that will get you going in the right direction. If I end up buying/installing, I'll post a review/write-up.

Sigmaman Report post Posted February 5, 2011 Hi I ended up getting a CIPA 36400, the best price I found was on Amazon I'll let you know how it goes. Please do. I'm curious to know how difficult or easy the install is if you do it yourself. If you do a professional install I'd like to know how much they charge. And of course how well the mirror works. Thanks

Thanks I plan on doing it myself, I read the directions and it doesn't look too bad, I will be getting it this week. To be continued...........
