lolder Report post Posted January 5, 2011 Several months ago, my RSS (rear parking aid ) and CTA (cross traffic advisory) beeper started sounding weak and "gurgley". A few weeks ago I started getting yellow message center warnings of problems with both. The BLIS was unaffected. Monday the local Ford service spent 3 hours trouble shooting and ordered a part. Today I returned and they replaced the Parking Aid Module Speaker. It sounds and works normal now and no charge under warranty. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

lolder Report post Posted January 6, 2011 The most interesting thing about this event is that the vehicle monitoring system detected a problem with the beeper. That's like announcing a failure of a low oil pressure warning light. Conversely, the system didn't detect the large anomaly that "Oldschool1962" had last year.
