lforlucas Report post Posted December 27, 2010 Okay, this happened last year and I had to take it to the dealer and wait 2 hours for them to reset my SYNC on the car. I have a 2010 Fusion Sport I'm just wondering if there's a way I can do it myself. I know to plug-back-in the fuse for SYNC but that didn't work the first time before going to the dealer. Here's the situation: The SYNC won't work AT ALL. When I push the phone button on my console, nothing. When I try and plug in my iPod via USB, nothing works. It's like SYNC isn't even there anymore. What can I do to avoid going back to the dealer? Thanks in advance.

lolder Report post Posted June 10, 2013 I had two events this week; I ran the 12 vdc battery down leaving it in accessory mode for a day and a nearby lightning bolt occurred. I jumped the car and the 12 vdc is ok but I found the Sync to be completely dead. I disconnected the battery for a minute and all is now OK including Sync pairings. MTGilby Report post Posted June 28, 2013 I just posted in mytouch glitches topic and I guess it should have been here. But, long story short everything went black, took it to dealer, they had to email ford to get the fix which was disconnect sync from power, then repower and reprogram the system to get it to work. I hope this is not an ongoing situation. I ordered mine without nav, etc. to hopefully get away from too much technology, more bells and whistles more troubles.
