zabarnss Report post Posted November 2, 2010 I love my 2010 FFH, but notice that the lighting on the speedometer is rather dim compared with surrounding LCD screens. I've tried fiddling with the dash light adjustment, but the speedometer always seems too dim relative to the other dash lighting. Has anyone else noticed this? Any suggested solutions? SteveWith the headlights off, my LCD screens are bright and the speedometer is bright and additionally, the speedometer brightness can be further increased in 5 steps. With the headlights on, both the speedometer and LCD screens can be controlled in 11 steps. I have no problems.

savngas Report post Posted November 3, 2010 I've noticed the same, relative to the LCD brightness the speedo is a bit dim.I like my LCDs dim and when I turn it down to my liking my speedo disappears.
Buster1 Report post Posted November 4, 2010 Okay, you are correct. I looked at it tonight on my way home in the dark. The speedo is definitely darker than everything else. Hmmm... I have mine set at a "happy medium" for both LCD and speedo, but there definitely is a difference.
rfruth Report post Posted November 5, 2010 (edited) With that RED speed needle (graphic) I have to turn it way down, just about right for me - now for a question, am I just imagining things or does the speed needle get bigger as your speed increases ? note: no change during self test (when you first turn the car on & it sweeps to 120 MPH) but during real driving it seems to ((next time there is someone in the back seat behind the driver to observe I'll know or I might be loosing my mind and there is no change, not sure yet)) P.P.S. never mind about it getting bigger, its not Edited November 15, 2010 by rfruth
DesertSpiritSteve Report post Posted January 5, 2011 I'm having the same issue. I never noticed this before until the dealer upgraded the dash software. Now the brightness is fine all the way up, and then the first click dimmer, the speedometer drops out. More dash software please.
