Is that an LED strip?

Yea, you can get the strips from your local Discount Auto parts or AutoZone. You can cut them to your liking. They come with double sided tape, but in order for them to slide inside the side marker housing you have to remove the tape from the strip completely.

I like the way that looks, and after looking at eBay I'm not about to sped $100 on smoked side markers. I have a few questions if you don't mind:

 

- What did you use to black out the plastic?

- Did you have to pull the housing apart to install the LED strip?

- For power, did you splice the LED wires into the factory harness?
