poacheggs413 Report post Posted November 22, 2010 An alternative to hooking up the remote wire to the factory harness you could install an inexpensive switch. I found this setup to be beneficial in situations like driving through, neighborhoods, parking lots or any other spots where you don't want to advertise what you have in the trunk.
