Looks awsome!! What HID kit did you use? How did you do the LED's under the headlight.

i used the 35w 6000k kits from hidhub.com, and the LED's i got off ebay and cut to fit.

Looks good, but I hope you don't have any problems from them. I heard the HIDs mess with the computer, then other things stary going haywirey like lights and transmissions...

So how/where exactly did you mount the ballasts on each side? It's so tight in there I can't picture it fitting anywhere. This is the only reason I'm hesitating on buying a kit, which btw I want a 55w 8k kit w/ relay harness. Could you maybe right up a step by step or point me in the direction of where you found how to do it? Thanks

I did HID's, and obviously I can't speak for the original poster, but as for me, I mounted ballasts to the side of the car with velcro, in case they ever have to come off, worked very well, just make sure you get very good velcro, and clean the surface before you mount them. Also, you can use zip ties, i recommend the 11'' ones, just look for a spot and tie them up, they'll last forever and be very sturdy.

Quick question.

I have a 2010 Fusion SE.

Exactly what set up did you get from the website you mentioned above(hidhub.com), i know you said you got the 6000K 35W. I am looking at doing the same thing to my car.

Did you get the single beam or dual beam? What is the difference in them?

How close do the lights look to a factory car that comes equipped with HIDS? Reason i ask, is because i don't want my car to look like some cheesy/cheap aftermarket headlights, that are more blue than anything.

I installed 3000k HIDs in my foglights, and mounted the ballasts on the frame. I wouldnt recommend buying HIDs off eBay, i have heard they they might start to fail a lot sooner than if you pay the money for a real kit.. you get what you pay for. I personally wouldnt go cheap on HIDs because if they fail youll be going to buy more and having to install them again. Ill have to look at the box and ill give the website i bought mine from.

Single is what you need, thats an H11.. Bi or Double, is for vehicles that have the High and Low beam in the same bulb.

Looks good. I have replaced my 50w 6000k low beams and 35w 6000k fog lights that cost me over $400 total for with some $40-a-kit DDM Raptor V2 55w 5000k. The 6 was just too blue for my taste so I went with 5 and absolutely love it. Haven't had an issue yet and no I am not running a harness, the stock wiring is well enough to handle the ignition surge of the ballast.

Here is a video to show how they look (please excuse the harsh language used, it was a long stressful day with the install and everything else so I was kind of venting)
