Chrome window trim

Recommended Posts

I want to get a chrome window trim for my '10 fusion. I have a black car with 5% tint, I want to chrome the windows to make it have that snazzy look like the VW

I want it to look like this DSC03112.jpg

this is what it currently looks like 2008_ford_fusion_sport_appearance_package.jpg

As you can see the chrome trim is just on the bottom. Let me know if anyone has done this, and/or where I could get the parts for it. I know you can get 3M adhesive ones, but I don't know how good the quality is.

You can get this trim kit on eB@y and leave off the center pillar trim:

At carid.com they have the window trim package for the '09 that should fit the '10. You have the option to purchase the 4 (just the upper window trim) or 10 (window & pillar) piece.

I just put on the pillar pieces and door handles, and so far so good (they haven't moved even with all the heavy rain we get in Florida everyday)

Thanks for the suggestion...

I noticed those when I was googling before, but in my opinion (take no offense to this) they're just too big. I'm looking for something smaller, check the pic I posted, it'll give you a better idea. I've honestly been searching for a couple weeks and haven't come across anything :(

No offense taken, I was mainly replying to your inquiry about the quality of the 3M adhesive.

I think those are too wide as well, but so is the door frame. You would have to cover just half the frame with chrome to match the width of the trim on the BMW you posted, and then the other half would stick out. Bottom line is that I don't think you can match that look due to the basic design of the Fusion doors.
