Is your hybrid loud when you are accelerating hard?

I have a 2014 Fusion Hybrid. Not only is the engine loud when it is accelerating but the 'buzz' it makes is very obnoxious. So much so considering getting rid of it. I can mostly drown it out with the radio.

However I am willing to do some noise dampening to it. I have not pinpointed the source, but thinking it's noise along the intake pipe.

Considering using some dynomat or other sound deadening material to wrap in the intake pie with.

Thoughts?

I solved the problem concerning engine noise. my 2013 engine makes different vibrational sounds at different RPM's and under different loads. Almost sounds like a cow mooing when accelerating. My engine must be rated in cow power not horse power. I fixed the problem. I just turn the stereo louder. Lucky i have the premium stereo.
