inkie Report post Posted July 13, 2010 Has any one used Mother's Reflections car wax? How does it work. Best deal is to buy from Amazon. I have used it on a Honda Accord and to me it was just like any other wax. I have been using Zymol which gives me better durability. If your interested in trying something thats less expensive than reflections try Maquiors Carnauba wax spray it gives a great lustre.
FFHdriver Report post Posted July 13, 2010 Has any one used Mother's Reflections car wax? How does it work. Best deal is to buy from Amazon.Klasse AIO and sealer are the best products I've ever used. I've only seen them for sale on the internet.
The Hawk Report post Posted August 22, 2010 Klasse All In One is an one of the best cleaner/polish/protection solutions in one bottle. However the Klasse sealer is not an easy product to use at all which is why so many people don't topcoat Klasse AIO with it. It's very prone to streaking and can be very difficult to buff off. Depending on what you are looking to accomplish you may not want to use a wax product. Wax often gives the best "wet look" and depth of shine but none of them are overly durable and hold up well to the elements. If you want durability and are willing to sacrifice a little depth of shine you want to use a sealant. For the past couple years I've been doing the daily drivers in my driveway with Klasse AIO and then topcoating with Meguiar's #21 Synthetic Sealant. It deepens the gloss a bit compared to just the Klasse AIO, is easy to apply and remove and holds up a lot longer than wax. I recently tried a new product called Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Protection. I can't speak on durability yet compared to the Meguiar's (but I've read nothing but praise) but it's hands down the easist to apply and remove product I've ever used and I've used a lot of different ones over the years.....it goes on easier and comes off better than Meguiar's NXT wax. That should give you a real good indication at how easy Blackfire is to use if you've ever used NXT (which was my gold standard for ease of use) It also leaves the slickest slippery finish I've ever felt in all my years of detailing my rides. How it compares durability wise to the #21 I'll know over time as I did half of my hood, roof and trunklid on my Fusion with it so I can do a direct comparison. It also adds a nice depth of shine and wet look as well. If you're just interested in a one step product than Klasse AIO is the only choice IMO. Klasse AIO has a sealant built into it which is quite good.....it just doesn't have the durability of the Meguiar's #21. And Klasse AIO is a very nice product to use.....it goes on nice and comes off with minimal effort as long as you don't put it on too thick.
Fuze-ion Report post Posted August 25, 2010 Best is a broad term. Some products will last longer in the sun, while others may last longer if you get lots of rain, it all depends on your situation. I personally like "Poor Boys" & "Zaino" products. You have to purchase over the internet, you can't get a Wal-Mart or the local auto parts store. They are not expensive, and a little really goes a long way. You jsut need to plan and order ahead of your needs. Poor Boys is at "Autogeek.net" or "poorboysworld.com"Zaino is available at "zainostore.com" You will get good service and quick shipping from any of those three. They have been around for years, and have many dedicated customers. I go to a lot of car shows and some folks with very expensive paint jobs use these products. 08conFusion Report post Posted October 20, 2010 At a car show this summer a guy introduced me to a product called Black Diamond, which you can buy at advance auto. It works amazingly well, I detail cars as a side job and it works better than any other wax i've ever used.
