sullied Report post Posted July 3, 2010 I've only noticed one small problem with my car since purchasing it...and it's not even really a problem, just a slight annoyance. I don't use the "efficiency leaves" on my dash but changed it to the bar graph history since this provides more useful information than the leaves. Normally, when I start the car, the history on the bar graph from last time I drove are still there but grayed out. There have been three times that I noticed where the bar graph basically deletes the previous history and just puts bars down at the 0mpg level for all of the past bars. It has no effect on my overall mpg or my trip mpg and I can still pull the history up on my Nav screen, but it's just annoying that it does this occasionally. Anyone else had this problem or know if there's a fix for it?

sullied Report post Posted July 4, 2010 It sounds like you might be accidentally pressing the reset button at some point?Nope. That would reset the trip average as well...but it doesn't reset that. It still shows history bars...they are all just at zero.
rfruth Report post Posted July 5, 2010 I've used the leaves for months now not the bars - last night when I parked in my garage lots of leaves (as usual) but today (no kidding) I started up and no leaves ! Went to my sisters (25 miles or so, the leaves grew back) stayed for a few hours, got back in car & leaves were still there (as usual) drove 15 miles & stopped again for awhile & still all my leaves when leaving - so your bars zeroed out so did my leaves ! Did your average mpg stay the same during that?
rfruth Report post Posted July 5, 2010 Sounds like a similar problem. Did your average mpg stay the same during that? My average MPG reading (above the leaves or bar chart) went to 41.2 (was 41.7)((the pocket proctor in me knows this)) but my trip meter & odometer (( which I rely on)) was unaffected. FFHdriver Report post Posted July 6, 2010 I notice the exact same event every few days or so with the bar graph display. My bars go dim upon each start-up and show zero MPG. Seems to be the way it's designed. Doesn't bother me.
sullied Report post Posted July 7, 2010 My bars go dim upon each start-up and show zero MPG. Seems to be the way it's designed. Doesn't bother me.The previous bars go dim but don't go to zero...they stay where they were from the last trip. If they go to zero, there's a problem and it's not the way it was designed. I meant the new bar doesn't show up until you drive a while, no bar = zero mileage until it's calculated. Dim bars go away as you drive.

Well, if I confused anyone, mine doesn't act this way occasionally. Every now and then, ALL of the bars will show zero all of a sudden and they aren't grayed out. It doesn't happen very often...just a bit annoying is all.
