Snowball 2010

Roof Antenna ( Shark Fin Maybe????)

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, it's me again "Snowball2010", I've got good news for all you mod freaks. How about changing your stubby whip for a Shark Fin. Yes, it's possible if you want to fork up 85.00$, not bad for a cool fully functional Shark Fin Antenna. I know allot of you where asking and I found where and how......I just ask of you that will place an order, just to mention my member name in your order. Reason is we would like to keep record of how many people got the message through our Ford Fusion Forum. If the number of purchases is big maybe we can negotiate some lower prices or free shipping for FFF members. Not only this seller but many other sellers on the net. How about it guys, let me know your comments. Thanks, here are some pics and the link; Ciao.

Too late.

Mine arrived 2 days ago. Took them a week to "manufacture" it. Now I am waiting for a sunny warm day to put it on.

Hi Oblivion, I can't give you dimensions cuz I haven't received mine yet. I would gladly do so as soon as it arrives. Now, as far as it being a bit too big, they had no choice given the size of the existing base. Cuz that's how they work, they are an extension to your existing antenna, the Shark Fin cover is also functional, it is an antenna and the coiled wire makes the connection to your base. "BIG" "BIG" "big" "big" .......you see it's only a question of perception. You may find it "BIG" because you are comparing it with the other models out there. They could not make it smaller, they could have made it to look more like the Beamer model but that would have made it so huge to hide the base that it would actually look ugly and disproportionate to the car. I do admit it looks different, but different is not ugly, some people love bulldogs. I don't like the look of a bulldog but it's a very affectionate animal........I'm getting away from myself here.......you know what I mean. My suggestion is wait until we've installed ours, we'll post pictures and then maybe you'll be inspired..........or not..........but that's OK taste is personal. That's what this forum is all about. Ciao

My experience is that they decrease the range of the signal, meaning stations do not come in as well.

Hi Chris, Are you saying that you've installed this particular model and make? Cuz what I've been told is that they were tested and work very well on all frequencies including satellite radio. And since they are a bit bigger that the others I would naturally assume that the would work at least as well as the others or even better. Well time will tell we are two who bought them and we will keep you posted. I suggest that anyone interested, waits for our report in a couple of weeks at the latest. We'll keep you posted. Ciao.

I Love it! But I need some real world functional reports before ordering.

I've had it for months now and it works perfectly.....the only difference is....it's a little more sensitive going under an overpass on the highway. Other

than that I've had no problems what so ever.
