Gracenote Cd Track name update??

Is there anyway to update the gracenote cd info database on nav equipped FF's?

Correct. 199.00. But to order them on line, you have to lie about your vehicle. They do not list 2010 for the Fusion, and in 2009 they think you have the non-HDD version of the Nav system.

 

So, tell them you have a 2009 F-150 and you will be able to order PN #U0017-0075-905.

Rather than manualy entering album data, I rip the CD to wav files, and then burn a new CD, using Nero, making sure the CD name, artist and tracknames are all in order. The jukebox recognizes all the correct data from the new CD. (And you get a 2nd copy of the CD.) Evidently there's info on the new CD that bypasses the Gracenote search. I wish that all commercial CDs had whatever this is...

 

You can also make your own CD compilations this way, and the jukebox will copy them correctly.

I KNEW there had to be a way to do this!!! Can you give me more info on this? How do you structure the filenames that you burn so that the jukebox reads it correctly?

Here is a work around that I discovered while playing with my computer. Normally when I get a new CD I burn a copy of it to use so the original doesn't get scratched up. The key is the rip the new CD to your computer, then burn a new Audio CD using Roxio Creator. Roxio uses Gracenote and picks up the information, which is then put on the burned CD. When you put the newly burned CD in the car's player and add it to your Jukebox, it will now have the Artist and Track information. Hope this works for you as well.
