Grayson Report post Posted June 26, 2010 Total price before tax on August 4, 2009 was $33,490. The car has all options including the white platinum metalic tri-coat finish. With tax, the price was $35,637. With $4,500 off for the "cash for clunkers" rebate and $150 for "unit handling", I ended up paying $31,137.

MrMikeL Report post Posted October 24, 2010 WOW! Where do you live? Minnesota, Twin Cities. I was looking at used FFH's with 12k miles for about $1k less, then I stumbled upon the Ford dealership in Rochester(about 90 minutes South). They had 3 on the lot, 2 in the gray metallic and one black. Since I already had a black car, I was interested in the gray. Took them both for test rides and one didn't feel solid - had some sounds and the ICE didnt engage smoothly. So I picked up the other one. The remaining ones are gone already, sorry! When I asked why they were giving them away, he said they'd been sitting since early summer and no one was buying them. Rochester is a very conservative city and I guess that newfangled technology just doesn't sell down there. General manager sald get rid of them Took a lot of internet searches to find that price point, but was so glad I did!
DDBCretin Report post Posted October 24, 2010 Hi all, first post. :-) Bought mine last month in Baltimore. Wrote a check for $24,877. That covered taxes, tags, registration etc. They gave me $3700 on my trade in. Car is a silver 502A. It was the last 2010 on the lot and I think they just wanted to get rid of it. Worked for me. Zoom Report post Posted October 26, 2010 (edited) The latest pricing on the 2010 FFHs must be figuring in the 2000$ rebate from Ford? Edited October 27, 2010 by Zoom
bsla Report post Posted October 27, 2010 The latest pricing on the 2010 FFHs must be figuring in the 2000$ rebate from Ford? I agree as I was pricing a 2010 this week and the dealer quoted me 29k with 502a package. This included a 2000 factory credit.
MKZ 2011 Report post Posted November 4, 2010 (edited) After reading everyone's post, I am taking the 5th on our 2011 MKZ (41 ish) Edited November 4, 2010 by MKZ 2011
CometFlash Report post Posted November 4, 2010 After reading everyone's post, I am taking the 5th on our 2011 MKZ (41 ish) That made me laugh! Nice. Looks like a few really good deals on some 2010's w/502A packages. Makes me wonder if I should search around for any 2010's left on the lots myself, see if I can't get a better deal on one of those rather than a 2011.
