Anyone separated the lens from head or tail lights?

I would like to spray tint the chrome inside the tail lights of my '07 Fusion. I have seen some pics of it done, but I am unsure of how people got the light apart. I am a little nervous about trashing my housings, and being stuck without lights on my daily driver. Is there a trick to getting the lens off? I would love to do both the heads and tails. An even better question may be... How the heck do you get them back together? I think an epoxy/crazy glue would ruin the chrome or paint I use on them.

I was thinking the same thing but, I was too chicken. Changed my theme. One guy I know said he pried them apart with a screw driver from the corner. No oven. Then he epoxied them back together. They look good.
