Can you add speakers in the back on a stock stereo?

I have a 2010 Fusion SE with a stock audio system. I noticed that in the back seat there is room for two speakers right above the trunk area. There is some insulation covering it. I was just wondering if the wiring is already done and ready to install the two extra speakers or do you have to do it yourself.
