buckd44 Report post Posted January 3, 2010 We just bought a 2010 Fusion 2.5L and I am a do it yourself kind of guy. Has anyone installed the Bi-Directional remote start themselves? If so, what all in involved? does it have a wire harness? Any info would be great. Thanks,Nate

If so, what all in involved? does it have a wire harness? Virtually the same as the single directional installation. The instructions are on the Ford Accessory Website as pdf files. Go to this link and: Select type : Installation instructionsSelect description electronicsSelect catagory CarSelect the 2010 model year. Basic instructions, it practically plugs into the harness. There is some wiring, the brake pedal, etc. Check it out.

rpreuss Report post Posted January 4, 2010 The hybrid installation guide is different. I have a copy but I have to see if I can find the link. I don't see it at the link posted. The document link is for "2010_Bronze_RMST_Car_11_20_2009.pdf" and has a section titled: 2010 Fusion/Milan/Hybrid/MKZ Remote Start 1INSTALLATION So the manual thinks it is for the hybrid.
