New FFH

Well, we have had it for a few weeks now.

 

We wanted the Ice Blue w/stone interior, but was not having any luck finding one. When they announced the "cash for clunkers" was ending, we didn't wait, and settled for the tri-coat white, with a black interior. (502a)

The dealer offered to add window tinting, since we couldn't get the one we wanted.

 

I think I've gotten to drive it 3 times now since we've had it. I'm don't even know how many miles she has on it now.

 

I think it's past the "break-in", because the mpgs have jumped from the mid 30's, to the 40's.

Getting the wife to re-learn her driving methods has been somewhat of a challenge, but I think she's getting the hang of it.

 

I also had to change a little bit on my driving.... (just in case she reads this.....)

 

I was a little skeptical of Ford's quality, having had some problems with my last vehicle. So far, I like the car. I was leaning towards the Camry, but the sync and NAV and backup camera are really nice.

I wish the mirrors had the turn signals in them (I think they should be on ALL cars...), but no biggie I guess.

 

The wife said it was making a clunking sound, and she took it to the dealer before she told me. They said the end links were 'loose". Since I didn't get to look at it first, I don't really know what it was.
