DaveM Report post Posted September 13, 2009 On the last two cars we have bought with a Nav. unit it came with a DVD and latest had 2 DVD's, one for west and one for the eastern U.S. Anyway the Nav ran of the DVD and I wonder how the Nav in the 2010 Fusion works. Is there a separete DVD slot for the Nav disk or do you put it in the regular DVD slot and it uploads the info to the hard drive. I really couldn't find anything in the guides and haven't received our FFH yet.

I am fairly confident that is correct.
mlwaverunr Report post Posted September 13, 2009 The data is loaded on a hard drive and updates are issued on DVDs. The DVDs upload the updates to the hard drive---hopefully they will upload the Grace Note database updates as well.
