Aftermarket rustproofing

What do you think about aftermarket rustproofing (Ziebart, etc.)?

 

Once my Milan finally arrives, I intend to keep it until the wheels fall off. I'm in the Dayton, OH area, so we see all manner of interesting weather.

Never had it done to any of my cars. I live in Utah and the weather around here probably would call for it but I have never had an issue with rust.

Rustproofing can actually trap moisture and make the problem worse. As long as you keep the undercarriage clean (especially if you've been driving on salted roads) you shouldn't have any problems.
