My sun visors will not stay in place. After I adjust them at the angle I need to block the sun they will continue to rotate until pointing straight at the floor. Is there a tension adjustment that can be made? If so...how?

Maybe jam a piece of thin cardboard into the hinge? I have the same problem with my visors. A dumb design!

I too have the droopy visors.

I am considering a wrap of duct tape in the area exposed when you extend them.

On top of that, the visor clips seem stretched and dont hold them in place.

Is that common?

I went ahead and put a wrap of vinyl upholstery tape around the stems and it works well and appears to be holding up ok.

I eventually want to take them apart and see why they fail like that though

I've got the same issue on my '07 fusion and it's really annoying. It seems like a safety issue (the visor shouldn't be getting in the way of your line of sight..) It's definitely a design issue.

Does Ford have a replacement visor that won't do this? Can anyone tell me if the later fusions have this issue or did Ford change the design? I'm wondering if I can get the newer fusion visors to replace mine...

Obviously not. My '10 (see post above) does the same thing.
