Ipod Touch problem

i had to bring in my 2010 fusion because the usb device could not be recogized and they told me that the software doesnt support a touch, and will cause the sync to fail they said there was an update for that coming soon

 

well i just updated to v3.0 do you know if that cleared the problem, i dont want to plug in my ipod just to go back for the same problem again

I have a 2009 SEL and I plug in my iPod Touch quite often. Never had any issues. I believe my Sync is 1.2.

 

If it will help troubleshoot, I can check the version next time I am in the vehicle, just let me know.

i think i will wait till tomorrow to update my ipod to the new 3.0 sorftware then give it a try

no one else seems to have this problem

 

i find it shady that the dealership just wrote up the job ticket as scheduled maintenance and didnt log the problem i told them i had
