kirkster57 Report post Posted June 4, 2009 i picked up my FFH last night and I am a happy camper. So far I love everything about the car. People thought I was nuts for trading my '07 Infiniti G until they see the Fusion. Mine has the white tri-step paint which is just stunning. I had a clear bra added (venture shield - must have), paint sealant & ford remote start added. My samsug cell phone, which is bluetooth equipped does not work with the sync system for some reason. It keeps rebooting. My blackberry curve phone set up with no issues. My car has all the factory options including nav, so there is a lot going on inside the car. Got 37MPG on the way to work. My G averaged 20. I still need to get through all the manuals & stuff but so far i am loving the car. Very comfortable & very quiet. The Sony sound system is awesome. Ford knocked it out of hte park on this car.for those of you who are still waiting for yours, it will be worth it...trust me. Kirk

cchaos Report post Posted June 4, 2009 Congratulations! I also had some people think I was nuts trading in my Acura, but once they see the FFH they understand. So far, I like the Fusion much better than the Acura - better technology, better ride (not as rough), quieter, SYNC, Sony sound system, BLIS and other safety features, and of course far better MPG, without requiring premium fuel. I've had it for a month and love it. Enjoy!
maxpower220 Report post Posted June 4, 2009 We traded my wife's S60R and have no complaints. The FFH is quieter and has many features that the Volvo didn't (sync, backup camera). The nav is a lot easier to use than her old car. Almost twice the gas milage around town doesn't hurt either.

Mine was scheduled to arrive on Wednesday the third so now I am just waiting for the call to tell me it is in. Hopefully it will come in today so I can pick it up tomorrow but I have been saying that for a couple days.

kirkster57 Report post Posted June 6, 2009 FYI- I got 44 MPH on the way to work today and 42MPG on the way home. Called Samsung about my phone and a phone hard reboot took care of that issues. Everything is 100% +For those who are still waiting...hang in there. Kirk i picked up my FFH last night and I am a happy camper. So far I love everything about the car. Juris Report post Posted June 7, 2009 A kind of strange thing happened today. I ordered my FFH on about May 13, and hadn't heard from the salesman since then about the VIN or build date. But he did call me a couple of days later to tell me that Ford had accepted the order. Then yesterday a friend of mine went to the same dealer to scout out the FFH and he told a saleswoman there that I had ordered one but he wanted to wait to see my car before he himself made a commitment -- since the dealer didn't have any FFH's on the lot to test drive. She then asked him what my name was and when he told her she looked up my order and found that my car was due to arrive on June 22. Or at least that is my assumption -- that it's the arrival date and not the build date. In either case, that would be pretty darn fast -- about 5 weeks from my order date. So now I am becoming pretty darn revved up that I might get my FFH in just two+ weeks. Honestly I'm not sure my "trade-in" will last that long, but I'm going to nurse it along!
