Poll: What color did you all order?:Whats Most popular?

Recommended Posts

Hi folks

We can't drive them, so while we're all waiting... what color is the most popular? What did we all order?

I like the White, but ordered the 500A which is not available in White (didn't want the moon roof).

Ordered mine in Atlantis Green Metalic Clearcoat with a black interior :camera: . No thing like it on the lot. What did you order?

I ordered White Platinum, with 502A package.

Car is due for production week of 4/13. I already have a VIN.

For the last few years, white has been the most popular color for cars in North America (20%). Silver and Black are still very popular at 17% each. Blue (13%), Gray (12%), Red (11%), Beige (5%), Green (3%), Yellow (2% and all other (<1%).

I think the premium white paints have helped the % and upset the long time favorite - Silver.

I ordered the silver with black leather in the 502A configuration. Scheduled week of 5/13. :headspin:

That's the same colors I ordered, with the 502a package. :-)

Ice Blue/Lt. Stone leather, 501A. The blue exterior color was on my short list when I showed up for the test drive, but I wasn't too sure about the light stone leather until I was able to see it. But it's very subtle, high-end - nicer than in the photos. And I think the lighter leather will be practical for our warm Florida summers.

That was my exact thinking with getting Stone instead of Black leather.

That sun is just plain vicious in May-Sept.

Ice Blue w/ Light Stone Leather 502A Package. Desert dweller here who doesn't like black leather in the summer. Ouch!

Hi to all,

I'll be getting a Sport AWD Blk/blk this week. I'm returning my 2006 SEL Fusion blk/beige after 3 years of waiting for the 3.5 v6.

Man you guys are all getting the NAV. Hmm just couldn't justify another 2400for a nav system, thought it does look really cool

Where are you getting your prices? The Nav is $1,775 as an option and in the 502A package you get $1,270 discount on the package that includes NAV. About $650 more discount than the 501A package that does not have NAV. Worth it to me! :happy feet: :happy feet:

Ice Blue, 501a. I need to get a vin number of production date from my dealer. I placed the order March 15th, so it definitely should have one. I expected that they were going to email me it, but not so. So I will just have to bug them.

The nav definitely was nice, but I couldn't justify the price. Then there is a built in GPS chip in the new Sync 3.0 package. Also, for what it is worth, on the back inside cove of the brochure for the Fusion, their is an accessory and it just happens to be a Garmin Niuv. I tried to find out what it was and why it was listed as an accessory? Anyone know what gives??

502A package includes leather, heated seats and the Navigation package over the 501A, so there is much more than Nav in the equation. Plus the rear view camera display is in the 8" Nav screen - not in the rear view mirror. By my calculations, the incremental cost of the Nav is about $1,100.

You are right it does come with all those extras. But I think we are trying to say those extras where too much $$$ for us to justify. This is just our opinion and its awesome you could aford those options.

I do think I like the back up cam in the mirror though, again just my opinion.

Well my dealer just received an Atlantis Green Milan. Barely a green color, more a black with a green cast. Changed my order from the platinum white to the atlantis green. Hey it even saved me a little money...

I went to a local dealer today and saw the Atlantis Green. I would have said it was black if the sticker didn't say green. I'd prefer it a little more green like a fir tree. Guess you liked it though huh?

I am partial to green colors -- but dislike most car greens. This is almost black in many lighting situations, and metallic green in sunlight. My wife and I both liked it. She thinks it is only a few shades darler than our Miata -- I stick with black with a greenish cast. In theory this color is exclusive to the Taurus SHO.

Having had a black car once (never again), this looks like it won't show the dirt and pollen to the same extent. I think most folk who ordered it will like it.

btw ... the fully loaded Milan they had in looked very nice -- pity we couldn't get the two tone leather in the Fusion...

I love the cam in the mirror, where we're already in the habit of checking.

My thoughts on the nav, aside from the expense, is the added weight and battery drain - fuel efficiency might take a hit. Nav is cool, and to an extent is "expected" on nicer cars, but its not something I need the vast majority of the time. For the times I do, a decent $200 portable is fine.

On those other extras, check out the package info. Once at the 501A level, you can still add your nav or leather as an option. I think 502A basically just offers you a little discount to get both.
