Staves Report post Posted November 25, 2023 (edited) Is this how much coolant should be in the reservoir? Been like this the last few times I’ve checked with car being parked for hours. I assume I can just take off the cap and add a little if needed when car is cold? Edited November 26, 2023 by Staves
2014FordFusionSE Report post Posted November 26, 2023 Definitely low. It should be at min at least (assuming the car is on a leveled surface). There should be a max mark somewhere too. I make sure that it's between min and max when cold.
Staves Report post Posted November 26, 2023 Ok thx. I’m assuming any coolant will do. Haven’t checked manual

Haven’t checked manual I've never had to top it off in 9 years but if I did, I'd either get the OEM one or something that's spec'd for Ford vehicles. I don't see myself adding green coolant to orange coolant but I've never researched it that much.
