2013 - battery completely drained - no start

2013 Ford Fusión SE Hybrid

Car completely dead

No power to dash, lights, door

Strange “clicking” sound coming from driver side of engine compartment before all power lost

Tried jumping per manual. No luck. 
Not enough power to unlock the trunk to get out the battery there. 
 

Any recommended actions besides a tow to a dealer?

Fold the back seat down from inside the car, then crawl through and pop the trunk with the emergency release.  Then you can easily access the battery.

He might as well pop the hood if he has access to the cabin. Then jump start the car by connecting another car or 12V battery on the 12V terminal (+)(red) and chassis (-)(black). The 12V peg is found on the right of the compartment, between the electrical fuse box, and the inverter/motor.
