bryanb Report post Posted February 20, 2023 Has anyone else seen this? I've noticed this a couple times now. After some months of just in town driving, with no real hard acceleration, if I go on the interstate, and floor it for passing, or whatnot, I'll get a big puff of burning oil out of the tail pipe. After that, its fine again for some months, until I take it on the highway again. The car had been in an accident recently, and was running fine, but we parked it while (2 months) the body shop receive parts, and could get us scheduled. I had to install a new 12v battery during that time. Started it up today yo go to shop, and check engine light is on. Seemed to run fine, but I stood on it, to see if it would run funny or something, and it did that puff of blue smoke again.
