cheryl Report post Posted October 16, 2022 I have a 2014 fusion hybrid se. My wrench and airbag lights come on intermittently. Mostly when I first start the car. P2127 code came up when scanned. We thought it was the battery since I had 81,000 miles. Changed battery. A few days later lights came back ok. Took to dealer. They could not duplicate. They said they checked wiring harness and gas pedal sensor and all were good. Anyone else experience this? The lights are driving me nuts! Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
2014FordFusionSE Report post Posted October 19, 2022 Do the lights go off automatically after some time or do they go off when you switch off the ignition and switch it on again? My guess is that if both, the airbag and the wrench lights are on at the same time, it's a wiring issue more than the actual gas pedal sensor. If the lights come on again, you may want to take it to another shop for a second opinion. Some mechanics are better than others when trying to diagnose a problem. cheryl Report post Posted October 19, 2022 Sometimes they stay on and sometimes not. I am taking it back to the dealer next week to have them recheck the wiring harness that they replaced last year.
