Thomas Watson Report post Posted February 10, 2022 See previous post on car shutting down while driving. Thought I had fixed it, as replacing the brake pads and topping off brake fluid - the car worked for several days. Last night, started car - CEL light stays on, Traction Control ABS, security light blinks. Then warnings pop up. oil pressure low, check charging system, high engine temp, high motor temp, blind spot system fault, cross traffic system fault, low fuel, maintenance wrench symbole, stop safely, service advance track, then repeat of everything. I can't even get the ODB scanner to connect. Any idea what to do.
Thomas Watson Report post Posted February 10, 2022 Forgot to add - I replaced the 12V battery today, and still get the same issues. ODB finds the modules, but unable to read most of them. MeeLee Report post Posted February 13, 2022 did you check the 12V battery? Lots of errors are due to a low 12V battery.
Thomas Watson Report post Posted February 14, 2022 (edited) 12V battery replaced. Cables and ground points verified no corrosion and wrung out to ensure continuity. Checked ABS speed sensors for functionality (spun wheels and verified voltage at the connection point). had vehicle towed to shop, as this is well beyond me now...
