jerry216216 Report post Posted January 11, 2022 hi guy, i have 2018 ford fusion hybrid is around 82000 miles recently have transmission leak problem @ front driver side CV axle already changed CV axle, axle seal (replaced couple times) also the silver color part (shown as photo) but leaking still happen @ cv axle anyone have same problems before or know how to fix it thanks a lot Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Chris978 Report post Posted April 20, 2022 Yeah same thing happened to me 2017 ffh se that means your cv seal is leaking being the cv joint isn't spinning in a True circle because the bearing is more then likely worn. If your car has 100k or less the transmission is covered by the warranty if your car sounds like a electric pencil sharpener ford will replace the transmission. Unfortunately these cars are grenades. I personally had my transmission replace twice under warranty but over last weekend the bearing failed in the transmission so now I pay out of pocket.
