What brand of winter tire will you use?

I was wondering, for those who live in snowy/icy condition during winter time, whats brand of winter tire will you use???

 

For me, I just bought some Bridgestone Blizzak WS-60 on 225 60r16 size for my AWD Fusion. Can't wait to try them!!!! :D

Blizzaks are great tires I think the only knock on them is the wear rate. I am going to stick with the factory tires for right now

Im going to get the Nokians I had them on my old celica and they were amazing tires.. and next year ill be moving to Calgary where its Icy alot so im going to spend the money for them

I live in Ontario and my job takes me from one end of the province to the other. I experience a lot of different mixed winter conditions with 90% highway driving.

 

I am going to pick up either a set of Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D's or Goodyear Eagle Ultra Grip GW-3's sized at 205/60R16 on steelies for my SEL AWD.

 

A good friend of mine who's got a Mazda 6 loves his Eagle Ultra Grip's. Good ride comfort, nice handling, great wear and they are pretty quiet for winters.

I changed my mind and am not going to get the Ultra Grip's.

 

Going to get Semperit Speed Grips instead. Semperit is owned by Continental and the Semperit's are made in Germany. Apparently they are very well received in Europe and have a good reputation. They are new to Canada.

 

They are supposed to be very good if you do a lot of highway driving with mixed conditions. On top of it they are a lot less money than the Ultra Grip's as well as the Dunlop Winter Sport 3D.

I love the Michelin's currently on my fusion for summer tires, so I will be going with the Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3's http://www.michelinman.ca/overview/pilot_alpin_pa3/3880.html

I couldnt afford the nokians. went with some kuhos 205/60 16R. pretty huge treads on them gets kinda vibratey doing highway driving..well see how it is when the snow hits.

A local tire dealer quoted my Wife $423.08 for 4 Cooper Arctic Claws. I'm thinking that price isn't for the 225 50/R17's she's got on the car but for the standard 205s. Still, I mainly wonder about these particular tires and Cooper in general if anyone cares share their experiences.
