MeeLee Report post Posted June 26, 2021 As soon as the toyota Prius hybrid batteries started lowering range (after 4 years of ownership), and dying, aftermarket was finding replacement solutions. Mostly Nickel Metal Hydrite replacements, However, lately some have replaced their NiMH batteries with Lithium Ion battery packs, that supposedly have 3x longer range for the same size pack.
