yura Report post Posted May 22, 2021 Hi there! My friend has 2018 Fusion Hybrid. Engine was replaced and can be from a little older car (trying to find out engine's year). And now when he turns on ignition cooling fan starts and doesn't stop. What can be a reason? My friend thinks it's due to coolant temperature sensor. And here is a question too... Pulled out from present engine (original engine is already utilized) sensor has part number 8s4a-6g004-ad. Parts.Lakeland says that needed sensor may be 3L8Z-12A648-A (watched for 2018 and for 2015 MY). And these sensors are really different. Is it possible that car has 2 different coolant sensors? Or engines till 2016 and from 2017 are different with different sensors? Thank you for any information! P.S. We are in Europe. So, go to dealership will not help :(
