Slight popping felt floor when turning at low speed.

Just went past 60K on my 2018 

 

As I turn my steering wheel while backing out of my driveway I can feed a pop/clunk in my floorboard. I can feel it again when I straighten my wheels. 

 

Nothing as I drive straight. Then when I slowly turn out onto my neighborhood streets or in a parking lot I can fell it again but only as I am turning the steering wheel. 

 

It just started and thus far ( 1 week)  it has not gotten worse. 

 

As anyone else experienced this and figured out what it was?

Did u ever figure out the problem? I'm having the exact issue in my 2019 fusion.

Same here. Either cv joints, bearings, or abs sensor ring (with tooth).

Either way, don't do hard turns, try not to do heavy braking or acceleration while turning, and you should be able to continue driving for at least an additional 25k miles (and more).

Did you repair this problem??? I am having exactly the same issue with my 2019 FFH SE. I have taken it to the stealership and they could not find a problem (after charging me $180CAD for diagnostic).

We have a 5 year old Sienna and a 9 year old Fusion. I feel both seem to make this noise when I back into our garage.

I assumed it's some kind of ABS mechanism or something. At times, I even thought it maybe related to our driveway.

 

I doubt a dealership has any motivation to diagnose this issue.

I'm going to keep driving these vehicles until it's more frequent and reproducible.
