HeyDN62 Report post Posted August 27, 2020 I bought a used 2019 SE model last week and everything works fine except the intelligent access door lock/unlock. I can only unlock or lock my door by using the buttons on the key fob or with the FORD-pass app. Am I missing a step here somewhere to activate this? Also not working to open the trunk. murphy Report post Posted August 28, 2020 Are you wrapping your hand around the door handle and not touching the lock area? It is easy to do if you use your left hand on a left side door or your right hand on a right side door. When the door handle senses contact with your hand the car transmits a "who is there" signal. The fob responds with its serial number. If the serial number is in the cars key memory it unlocks the door. How old are the batteries in the fob? Have you tried both fobs? Waldo Report post Posted August 28, 2020 The 2019 SE didn't have that feature available. You only get the intelligent access on the SEL and Titanium.
T Williams Report post Posted January 25, 2021 My intelligent key won’t open my doors, I have to use the fob. How can I change that?
