Fusion Hybrid Forum Report post Posted December 17, 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid Forum Back: 17 Dec 19 We're back after a lengthy downtime. The server shut down weeks ahead of the scheduled time without notice leaving us to use backup data. Fortunately, we had ZERO data loss! The good news is that we're on a much faster network with the latest software for speed, stability and security. We'll be making many changes throughout the next few days. If you have any issues or comments, please post them here.

That was my mistake when working on this site late, late, late last night. Fixed now.?
Fusion Hybrid Forum Report post Posted December 17, 2019 I have a lot of changes to make later tonight or tomorrow - the site is rebuilding itself, so I'm going to let that ride out - my eyes are a little fried right now anyway
murphy Report post Posted December 17, 2019 Can you do anything about the "Are you sure" pop up that happens after clicking on "Mark site read"? If I didn't want it marked as read, I wouldn't have clicked on it.

bookemdano Report post Posted December 18, 2019 13 hours ago, Fusion Hybrid Forum said: Both C-MAX sites were also affected with the shutdown. Not sure about bringing those back yet as it would cost $70.00 Can I ask about the details here. Did the fusion sites also cost $70 or is it something particular about the cmax sites? Or is it just that the cmax has been discontinued and the fusion is still in production (albeit not for much longer)? As a relatively new cmax owner I have found so much useful information in the two cmax forums--it would be a real shame to lose that content. I guess one possible suggestion here would be a consolidation. I'm not sure why energi and hybrid needed entirely separate forums, as there is a large amount of overlap between both models. And frankly there's a ton of overlap between the cmax and fusion as well. If it cuts down on your costs (and all existing content can be preserved) maybe it would make some sense to just have one big forum with subforums for the energi and hybrid models. I noticed this morning that the cmax domains are forwarding to their fusion sister sites. Not sure if that is just temporary or if you've already been thinking about a merge. Anyway, mainly I just wanted to make sure I spoke up in favor of preserving as much content as possible from the two cmax forums. Whether those can be brought back up as separate sites or merged into the fusion sites, it would just be nice to have the community back for asking/answering questions and sharing info about these unique and complex vehicles. Thanks for providing these forums! 1 ptjones reacted to this
ptjones Report post Posted December 18, 2019 I agree with Bookemdano! There's a lot of good info on the fordcmaxhybridforum.com site and the energi site too. If you need $70 I'll send you a check! Please advise as there are a number of my CMax friends who are also wondering what is going on! 1 Bill-N reacted to this

robertlane Report post Posted December 20, 2019 We only have x-amount of resources available, so we simply chose to upgrade the sites that were the oldest (with the most content). Love the C-MAX and in fact, a good friend of mine was involved with the program. I suppose we could up a PayPal donation link to get to the $70.00, although it's seems a little cheap. ? I did try to merge the two Fusion sites (Hybrid and Energi) together, but the Fusion Hybrid site fought tooth and nail (for 2-days) until I caved in and brought them back as two different sites. We will merge them into one now that they are both up and stable. ALL of the data for both C-MAX sites exist and are preserved 100%. I will try to merge them into one site over the next few days to see if we can bring it back as one entity. If not, we'll have to bring them both back as two different sites as was done with the Fusion Hybrid and Energi. 1 ptjones reacted to this
ptjones Report post Posted December 20, 2019 I can send a PayPal payment and I'm sure others would do also. I was also thinking it would be good to put all the FORD CMAX/FFH sites on a CD to have a permanent record for the future. Paul
fbov Report post Posted December 20, 2019 Add me to the list that thinks the C-Max site's worth a contribution, even if it's just a read-only resource. I kind of panicked when I put it in reverse, and nothing happened until there was a big BANG, knowing I'd have to start from scratch if the tranny had blown. Please? Personally, I prefer the original cmax site layout (compared to this). Is it not possible to resurrect it (and its energi twin) as is? Where do I send my contribution? I never imagined that these sites were privately funded/supported. THANK YOU for your work. Cheers, Bill-N 1 ptjones reacted to this
