Skydogz Report post Posted June 5, 2018 I waited until the new Steering wheel bolt recall was completed to see if that was the problem and afraid not!I thought it was outside in left wheel well, but my wife's superior hearing located the noise inside at the steering wheel itself. My steering wheel started to squeak when turning right from a standing start about 2 months ago. I asked dealer to check it out then while in for other work and they CND (could not duplicate). I just had the steering wheel bolt RECALL done hoping that was the cause of the mystery squeak, no dice! It is now squeaking more than ever and when I turn either direction! Was going to WD40 that steering column but there is a big rubber boot over it.Anyone know how to remove that rubber boot?
