Justblan1984 Report post Posted April 25, 2018 Hello everyone, just traded in my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 6” Lift and 35” mud tires for a 2017 FFH SE about a week ago. So far I’m loving this car. The comfortability, the ride quality, and especially the gas mileage over my truck (10-13 mpg). The FFH I got only has the basic SYNC 4” radio, I’m really eager to put in a system I have a 500 watt MTX Terminator Mono Amp and a Kicker 12” Comp sub in a potted box bought from Best Buy. I have been researching day and night on how to install a LOC in this FFH, purchased one and attempted to find speaker wires to tap into but could not accomplish this. The stereo system is also the basic with no speakers in the rear deck. Although I did pull apart the trunk and behind the vertical carpet on the right side I did find a non used plug just sitting there and thought maybe it is used for the rear deck speakers (maybe someone could confirm this for me). Also am I able to upgrade the battery in the trunk on the left side behind the carpet and run my amp wires from that? Another upgrade I am looking into is HID upgrade but cannot really find a clear answer if they work in this year FFH and also do I need a relay harness and capacitors to run them. Any help and feedback would be greatly appreciated! Glad to be a part of the FFH community! Also is there a mobile app for iPhones that makes using this forum easier?
