djminfll Report post Posted September 13, 2017 I delayed posting anything until all details were finalized, which occurred today. My 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid, which I bought in December, 2016, started having the dreaded "Deep Sleep Mode"electrical problems in May. The last time it was towed in to my local Ford dealer, they said it was due to a TSB regarding the radio draining the battery. They told me it was fixed, and it wouldn't happen again. Then in mid-July, it happened again. That was when I began the process of filing a Lemon Law claim. Ford sent a "hybrid specialist" to my dealer to evaluate the situation, and they concluded that they didn't know what the problem was, but they determined that it was not fixable. Today, I picked up my brand new Lemon Law replacement vehicle, the identical vehicle as my first one, compliments of Ford. A 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid Platinum in Burgundy Velvet with ZERO MILES on the odometer! Every once in a while, the little guy wins! 3 Texasota, Davewn and ptjones reacted to this
md13ffhguy Report post Posted September 14, 2017 Congrats to you! This is how it should be. No one should ever be expected to invest tens of thousands of dollars into any proven product with unknown defects that arise early and can't be fixed. I'm sure this one will be great. Enjoy! :)
