Bing44 Report post Posted February 3, 2017 I have a 2017 FFH SE, purchased in December. When it's cold there's a very annoying rattle that comes from the rear passenger seat/trunk/deck lid area, like something is loose. It happens when driving on rougher roads or going over expansion joints. Seems to lessen as the air temp warms up. Anyone else had anything like this? Frank F Report post Posted February 15, 2017 Does it sound like a baby rattle and relatively quiet? If so, I had it on my 2014 Focus and it was of all things, the seat belt latch / receptor. I could have sworn it was coming from the back, in fact, took the wife where we could drive it around with me laying down listening for it, and it went away. When she tapped on the unbuckled seat latch / clamp (not sure what they are called), the rattle was there. After a few bucklings and unbucklings of the seat belt, it went away forever.I imagine the Fusion uses very similar seat belt latches as the Focus.
