dysert Report post Posted June 28, 2016 (edited) I still relatively new to the world of SYNC and Bluetooth, so please bear with me. I have an iPhone 6 that of course comes with a Maps app. When I use the app, I can tell it to send its audio output to the iPhone or to SYNC. When I send it to the iPhone everything is fine. It comes out the phone. But when I send it to SYNC I don't hear anything. I have increased the phone's volume, but that doesn't help. Another oddity is that my radio is still playing, so if I increase the car's volume, it just raises the volume of the radio. I figure I must be doing something wrong. Can someone help? Thanks. You might have to do it every time you get in the car as some Apps don't switch automatically form phone to car.I use Plan and It works like a charm. 2. Have you log you car to the fordowner website? ElectricFan69 Report post Posted July 1, 2016 What Sync audio source is selected? If it's not the 'Bluetooth audio', you won't get any sound. Seems like many phones (I use BlackBerry 10.3 OS, but we have same issue with Android 5.x) send maps output to 'media' profile instead of 'phone' profile. This means that if you're listening to, say, Sirrius, you won't get audio directions. You should if you're streaming and have Bluetooth audio selected.
