2b2 Report post Posted September 5, 2005 Don't know if anyone else has been dying to see interiors other than SEL black & beige(Camel) - I'm just posting links to the Autodeadline pix cuz they might have copyrights... Just for comparison, here's the SEL black interior. This Camel interior is the SE - it lacks the SEL's clock but has steeringwheel controls on boths sides (cruise & audio). Also the trim around the radio kinda looks like it's carbon fibre patterned when I boost the brightness of the pic and what I think is the tweeter speaker grille is visible in the A-pillar. And this should be the S with the Charcoal/Stone interior - there's only steeringwheel controls on one side (cruise only & of course no clock), and the radio surround matches the 'grained' dashtop material. (Don't think it's merely different lighting cuz the A-pillar and carpet/footwell area color look different from the Camel above too.) Re-checking the Fusion Ordering Guide, it says Tungsten Grey doesn't come with the Camel interior. If correct, JLucas's pix from the drive event DID show the Stone interior FIRST. Yet to be seen - shots of the S/SE upholstery or the upgraded SEL cloth interiors.
Jamers99 Report post Posted September 12, 2005 Can someone confirm if this pic is of the Black or Medium Light Stone interior? http://mysite.verizon.net/res1ac97/101_1921.jpg

After it loads in your browser, you can click the image to make it huge. ;) http://www.fusionunleashed.com/a.jpg http://www.fusionunleashed.com/b.jpg

Stone is very different and the dash itself is 2 tone - glovebox door area is "Med.Lt.Stone". more pix/links for comparisoning Autoshow shots of the Milan at Velocity Journal and almost the same view (different camera?) at Roadfly. If I've finally figured out the Ordering Guides (The Milan guide indicates only the Stone interior has 2 tone SEATS), these are all the Stone interior. This next pic (sorry, don't remember where I found it) looks much more greyish -- as does the blown-up door shot from JL's gallery from a Fusion drive event. (Tungsten and the silvers do not come with the beige/Camel interior, except in the Zephyr) The Familycar Fusion gallery offers some nice pix (here showing the 'wood' trimmed radio surround - larger at site).Once again, the upholstery looks like a pale (somewhat cool) beige but I don't think it's Camel - the dashtop looks Charcoal not brownish. Here's a closeup of the 'wood' in the Fusion (also shows the Camel interior in direct sunlight) from http://mywebpages.comcast.net/wbjn/2006Ford/Fusion.htm Robert, any word on when glamour shots of ALL the interiors will be released? Jamers99 Report post Posted September 12, 2005 Well if that is a pic of the Medium Light Stone interior and it's actually two tone with wood grain dash then I'm not interested. I much prefer the piano black dash vs that unappealing wood grain. I just have some resevations about getting a black interior. I plan to tint the windows but still worry it might get too hot. Hope owners can buy the PB trim parts and do the mod themselves.
2b2 Report post Posted October 5, 2005 Some new photos, including interiors, from Ewwwbay of all places, via C&D.here are direct links to larger pix of the SE's carbon-fiber-look trim which I think would go well with the cloth upholstery in Stone... assuming these pix are at all accurate. Drake Report post Posted October 11, 2005 That carbon looks nice. My Saleen has it inside and the mirrors. The mirrors haven't held up so well though. :( I like the piano black much more than the wood trim. Wood trim is something should stay in Buicks. :D
HEVeng Report post Posted February 3, 2006 The SEL is worth getting just to get the clock. Adds a little pimpliness to the dash.
