Darkside Report post Posted February 9, 2016 I have to chuckle (haha) about watts and this Sony amp. I offer some knowledge on watts and amps. My Sony 12 speaker system has 18 gauge power wires running it. So based on the chart, oh wait the chart doesn't go down to 18 gauge. Hmmmm...... Maybe 320 or 390 watts peak and that is seriously stretching it, probably due to the ohms voodoo that is going on. 4 ohms for doors, 8ohms for center and 2.3ohms for rear parcel.
