lolder Report post Posted January 3, 2016 Well you know there's a lot of AC and DC in the car. Maybe they've reached a truce. I'm getting over my infatuation with the car ( since I'm not rich ) but it is fascinating.The brake pedal is solely for the mechanical brakes unlike all the hybrids. The Go pedal has all the regen control when you ease up on the pedal like a stick shift car in low gear. One new owner had misgivings about it but the Tesla delivery man said try if for three days before switching to the "low" regen option. The owner said he liked it after 30 minutes. If you're on and off the pedal all the time it would require re-learning driving habits or you'd make all your passengers sick. It eliminates the complicated computer mixing system in hybrids.
