machoman1337 Report post Posted September 7, 2015 I've been to Europe and many roads outside major freeways are too narrow to drive comfortably on inside a Ford Edge. In fact, if I lived there, I actually wouldn't want to drive anything larger than a BMW 3-series for the most part (sorry Mondeo!). You do see the odd large American truck/SUV here and there, and Europeans do make large beasts like the Range Rover and Mercedes-Benz GL, but even those sell much better in North America than they do in Europe. Still, it's good to go global with a fine car. I can see the Edge being a strong seller in Latin America, the Middle East, and parts of Asia.
corncobs Report post Posted September 8, 2015 While I agree with the lane space it's definitely something you get used to. It's just that there is so much space around here that you perception of road/lane space is totally obscured. I recently went to Boston for the first time and it reminded me of the old European cities. Very narrow streets and a maze of them.
