usererror Report post Posted July 28, 2015 I thought I'd just comment that I like my trunk's 'battery bump'. I know it takes up space but I've found that for grocery shopping that bump keeps all our bags in place and things don't slide around as much. :) I actually use it quite a bit when packing things too for trips as a separator. 5 JonL, SteveB_TX, hybridbear and 2 others reacted to this
nv rick Report post Posted July 29, 2015 For groceries, you can't beat the official cargo container. The separations help keep things from sliding around. And if you get the insulated bag, it really helps if you have to carry cold/frozen items a good distance. (We live about 60 miles from Costco, and it keeps things cold on the way home, even in 100+ degree heat. We just throw in four freezer packs that come with some of the wife's medications.) usererror Report post Posted August 1, 2015 I transported a complete Select Comfort king size bed in mine....958 miles. Still had room for luggage for two and a bunch of other stuff. Please tell me you have photos of this!? How in the world did you fit that in there? Did it fold over??? I love trying to pack everything in the trunk. I hate using the back seats at all, unless absolutely necessary, as it will be in two weeks. Two huge potted plants have to get moved. :)
nv rick Report post Posted August 1, 2015 Hey, Rick, which Costco do you go to when you come into town?Generally, the one on Marks, if we have other things to do on that side of town. Otherwise, we go to the one on Charleston.

Jeepgeek77 Report post Posted August 3, 2015 Just be careful you don't fold your rear seat down with the seatbelt latched and the rear seat becomes unable to retract to the up position. Happened to a good many people.

I'm now using a two-large-compartment organizer (The Container Store $15) that folds up when not wanted. Edited August 4, 2015 by mwr
usererror Report post Posted August 4, 2015 Very cool. I'll have to see where the nearest container store is to me. The ford page says to not use the organizer they sell with "BEV"? Is that U.S. With out batteries?
nv rick Report post Posted August 4, 2015 We generally get groceries in plastic bags which fit easily into the compartments. For larger items, the dividers can be folded against the back of the container. (They are held in place with Velcro tabs. The whole thing can be folded flat and laid on the trunk floor so that you can load things like suitcases or other large items.)I first learned about this item even before I bought our car and bought one within days of buying the car. Hybrider Report post Posted August 5, 2015 When I was googling around for something like "official cargo insulated", trying to figure out what it was, I ran across a grocery tote at the link below, which although smaller than the "official" cargo organizer :) , costs much less, and the insulated section looks like it is also included in the price. http://www.brookstone.com/high-road-cargo-cooler-tote 1 usererror reacted to this

hybridbear Report post Posted August 9, 2015 The ford page says to not use the organizer they sell with "BEV"? Is that U.S. With out batteries?BEV = Battery Electric Vehicle. The Focus Electric already has a cargo organizer, similar to this, that comes standard. 2 GrySql and usererror reacted to this

JonL Report post Posted January 19, 2016 I agree...to a point. I like the separation it gives but there are times I don't appreciate it.Also, for things that slip around, I bought a Weathertek liner that is very non-slip. Works great and helps keep the trunk neat.
